Zatka Brothers plc (Bratři Zátkovy a.s.) is a significant Czech and Central European producer of brand name pasta and flour. At the time of its establishment in 1884, it was the first Central European pasta plant and the largest pasta plant of its type in Austro-Hungary. Since the very beginnings of its more than 130 years of existence, the company has always placed emphasis on the high quality of its products. The best proof of this is the fact that Zatka pasta and Zatka flour have remained well known not only in the Czech Republic.

A traditional, high quality product containing egg powder which conforms to a specific Central European taste, while also adhering to all production and healthcare standards.

Cislo 2 Zatka´s rolled egg noodles - the same technology is used in the Bratři Zátkové Company to produce noodles as it was used for “homemade” noodles of our grandmothers and mothers’ generations: strips of noodles are cut from rolled out dough, which are then sold as hair-thin – soup – tagliatelle - papardelle noodles depending on their width.

Cislo 2 Zatka egg-free pasta “Monopol” - The cheap products which meet consumer needs for healthy, easy to digest food. It contains a minimum of cholesterol, but maintains the characteristic taste. Furthemore, as a part of Europasta holding activities, we also distribute the Emka and Ideal brands of egg-free pasta on the market.

Cislo 2 Zatka “Diamond” semolina pasta” - The pasta fully corresponding to European standards, both from the point of view of nutrition and from the point of view of desired ease during their preparation. Thanks to the raw materials used – hard wheat semolina (Triticum durum) – the pasta does not become overcooked even if the recommended cooking time is exceeded, and it does not stick together when served. Furthemore, as a part of Europasta holding activities, we also distribute the Adriana brand of hard wheat semolina pasta on the market.

Zatka egg pasta is the first in the Czech Republic to be packed in the so-called European type of bag: a bag with a modern design and a flat bottom on which the bag sits. This enables customers to store partially used bags without any risk of the remaining pasta spilling out.

The secret behind the quality of Zatka´s pasta lies in the use of first-class Zatka flour from the company's own mill as the decisive material. Zatka´s wheat and rye flour is also offered to the market network, packed in traditional 1kg packets, bagged or loose, especially for bakers.

The pasta plant’s product range is further supplemented by Zatka fine dehydrated semolina – the childhood memories of a plate full of semolina pudding richly sprinkled with sugar and cocoa, and Zatka crunchy crispbread - a modern bread supplement full of fibre, is tasty and healthy and supports the customer’s good health and slim figure.
